What are the Australian Immigration Requirements for Subclass 189?

Going to Australia is an experience of the lifetime not only for a visitor who goes there to experience the scenic beauty and vast landscapes but also a place where you can become permanent resident. This will enable you to not only take your family along with you, but also explore a global hub of opportunities wherein you can live and work for an indefinite period of time.

After all Australia is inherently a strong market-oriented economy that welcomes the influx of overseas newcomer immigrants in to its workforce. Due to the steadily growing economy, there is a constant need of skilled professionals who act as a prime catalyst in Australia immigration. Owing to the relaxed immigration policies there is not much fuss when it comes to the fulfillment of some of the chief Australian Immigration Requirements for their multiple PR pathways.

If you want to come to Australia as a skilled worker there is no pathway better than Skilled Independent or Subclass 189 visa that fits the requirements. This point-based visa is for skilled employees or professionals who are not sponsored by an employer, a state or territory, or a family member.

What distinguishes this visa subclass from others is the fact that incase you feel lonely, and are missing your near and dear ones, with this visa you can even bring along your family members and be re-united with them.  Right from 2012-2013 when Subclass 189 was substituted by Skilled - Independent Subclass 175 visa and the onshore Subclass 885 visa they have come a long way in terms of giving millions of migrants a quick and secure pathway to arrive in Australia as a permanent resident.
